Hello vdj comunity im currently designing a skin, so far i have some bottons and basic stuff.
Im now stucked with the code so if anyone wants to help i will appreciate it =)

I really like this skin. It's nice and basic, just how I like skin's. I don't use the fancy loops and effects so I don't need them on a skin. Maybe 2 or 3 hotcue buttons would be good but apart from that it's cool.

Sorry I can't help you with the coding, but I hope someone can take up the project. I would love to use it :)

thanks jim i will add hot cue bottons, and maybe a video panel but i still dont know because i want to make it nice and simple and easy to use
but we'll see so keep posting suggestions i will appreciate it :D

I hate to ask, but can you do this in 1280x800 please.

The size for this skin is gonna be 1280x800 jim mainly because thats the resolution of my pc
I kinda got hanged up on the code right now for some reason, so far the graphics part its going well

i like it. it does give me some ideas for making touch screen friendly skins.

keep the buttons large, keep the features simple..


you could have a toggle to swap the scratch waves for video screens...

New update:
Most the basic functions are ready such a play buttons, text zones, sliders for pitch and crossfader
Im having hard time trying to make a code for the position waves and scratch waves.
Besides that its all going well :D

Where are you placing the waveform for each deck? Is possible for you put a waveform under the title and Artist of the track being played on each deck. If you can it would be great. Also could you put as Gain figure on both decks (may be place it above the bpm figure)

Apart from that I think it's nearly there mate.

I think it is very cool. Are you more focused on timecode too? I was trying something simular but with my vestax players. What program are you using for ur layout?

The skin could be for timecode users and also what im trying to do is having a skin with basic functions wich could be perfect for djs who use time coded vinyl or djs with external controllers such as numark total control, hercules rmx, etc

Im using Photoshop CS4 for the layout

Super Dope!!!! Um dign' the simple layout.

I may be interested in it aswell if u add video to it, I use a touch screen and love the larger buttons.

I might a video panel or something called toggle for that.
Im now focusing on finishing the code for songpos waves and vertical scratch waves
so the skin should be ready soon....... i hope :p
