Forum: General Discussion - Topic: Can anyone help me set up a DJ tour for next summer in Europe?

This is a long shot, but I'm confident someone here can help me.

I live in Toronto (Canada) and have been using VDJ for about 4 years now. Love it!

I'm interested in doing a DJ tour of European capitals next summer - Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam or other major European cities.

I spin soul, funk & disco classics (boogie), along with electro Brazilian and deep soulful house.

I'd like to set up a tour where I play 3-4 gigs next spring or summer. Festivals would be great.

I don't have an agent, and don't require a lot of money to spin. Just enough to pay for my hotel room & meals in each city and I'd be good to go.

Anyone have any suggestions how I can make this happen?

All I can say is plan ahead. I am doing something similar.

Check Lonely Planet for some insight on how to stay longer in some places and about how often you should move around since you can only stay in an EU Country without a Visa for 90 days.

I plan on having enough money to chill for maybe 6 months (in the process of paying things off here) and if I don't make it, oh well.
