I have been hired to do a kids Halloween party which is Dora and Diego theme.
Other than like Monster Mash and such, any suggestions of top 40 artist to play? Or any other songs in particular?

I know you said a kids party but, this was after a quick Google search for Halloween songs. No mention of kids. Still a few you can use. Try a narrower Google search and see if that helps.

Play 80's songs and top 40 & started OUT fast and keep it going there kids they will have fun and try to give away some safe glow in the dark toys for the kids ( 5-16 ) if teen( 16-18 ) just play All new music and some Halloween music.

Don't forget to search for soundtracks to kids Halloween shows like Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Goosebumps, and other stuff. Scooby Doo goes over well for music too. Casper, the Friendly Ghost. Addams Family, even the Addams Groove by MC Hammer. Get creative.

A Man and His Music
If you are doing a Dora themed party, these kids are young, like 10 and under. The top ten mentioned above, my go over their heads. The parents may ask for some of the classic stuff, but the kids won't know about them. I would just play some fun and happy stuff that they know, and throw in some scary sound effects here and there. It's just like any other party except it's on Halloween. You don't play Christmas music all night at a Christmas party. Make sure you have some Dora music, and throw in a game or two.
