Hi, my Mac internal hard drive is full, only 500gb. Rather than starting on a new external hard drive I was thinking get a 2tb fitted in to the mac? Can all the data be loaded back on and all my playlist still work(Same file paths) or just start an external. The only thing with them is if someone knocks and unplugs them by accident mid song.. Thanks.

It "shouldn't" be a problem if you unplugg a external mid-song.
While the track is loading to a deck it gets loaded into the RAM of your PC and played from there.
Once the loading finished unplugging the HDD at this time only means, that the playcount can not be updated since the DB is gone.
But it should not affect the playback.

Seriously, how is someone able to help you if you do not give any informations on your system, VDJ version or what the actual problem is.
