think i have discovered a bug
I don't know if this caused it but after clearing the side list of tracks via right click remove I can no longer switch between the different side list modes sampler sidelist automix etc .. the dot on the side list doesn't work either. something has rendered all these on screen button useless. I have tried with default skin as well.

sorry i spoke too soon rebooting my system cleared it up.

ok this has come back now 3 times not sure exactly what is causing it but i have a custom button mapped to -> sideview +1
the custom button works even when the skin buttons do not
on build 3420
