Tema: [BUG] Cue point import problem

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I believe there is a cue point import bug.

Whenever Virtual DJ imports my cue points from Serato DJ, they are off slightly and do not sync properly with the beat grid.

Here's a video of what I'm talking about.

I am showing this in Version 8.2b3510 but I believe this was happening in previous builds as well.

Any one else having this issue?

That's a known "issue" (and not a bug) that can't be tweaked any further.
SeratoDj and VirtualDj use different ways to calculate time and store cue positions on their db's
When VirtualDj transforms the SeratoDj cues there's a round up "issue" on the math actions involved on the transformation formula. That's because with strictly mathematical terms, VirtualDj uses better accuracy and therefore there's a gap between each "position" transformed by Serato to VirtualDj time units. The actual cue place can be "anywhere" inside a small window which I believe is around 2ms.

When you import cues from Serato you should consider it as a "bonus" feature and then go ahead and tweak their position on VirtualDj.
