Hey guys, I need help.
i have mac book air. I want to be able to play the main track through Mac air book speakers and have the secondary track playing in my headphones so that way I can properly beat match and mix the music. I haven't found the proper settings and I need to find them...
does anybody have any comments. please let me know

If all you have is the laptop, then it's not going to be possible.
There is only one audio interface in a computer. Therefore you can use it for speakers or headphones - not both at the same time.
As explained in the VDJ documentation (did you read it?), to have a master out and a headphone output for cueing, you need a second audio interface (or a single interface with two or more stereo outputs).
