Hello... Here are my specs:
VDJ 7.4.6 PRO (I was annoyed by 8's functionality, spent way too much time getting it to do things I did easily in 7).
Windows 7
Master Sound Driver: Realtek High Definition Audio
Headphone Sound Driver: 3-Mixtrack Pro
The headphone quality doesn't drop, only master. I can go several songs through a mix and not have it happen...but once it happens, nothing fixes it and every track loaded on any deck will sound like shit until I restart the app. CPU has plenty of room left and my computer runs pretty smoothly. Do I need an amp for my speakers when running directly into computer? Or should I just stick to a splitter for the speakers and have both come from Mixtrack pro like I would during an actual set with a P.A.? I know that the Pro edition I have should be able to handle 2 drivers at once. I'd rather not upgrade to 8 if I can avoid it.
