The Remote App conrtoller on my Android will not connect automatically! This can be a pain it will comnect quite easily but if I veiw anything else on my Android Phone and revert back to the VDJ remote app the connection is lost and it will not reconnect until I connect to it at the VDJ8. Connect automatically box is checked, and I use the same ip and Port number!
Anybody any ideas how I can rectify this please?

It's similar on iOS. If you leave the app to go to another it crashes out completely.
Good news is there is not going to be a quick fix.
Try a VNC solution instead as they work fine.

Tried that but even with a VPN it still won't reconnect automatically.

Do you have Apple Bonjour installed on your PC?

I have Bonjour installed windows 10, but it will not find any android device!
