I had this crash with 5.1
Crash ID=03923004 (date=807082110, version=5.1 Pro, build=510, thread=Main, dump=0098ff00, excode=c0000005 (1,17fdf0ff))
I can't give more informations because I don't know what these figures mean.
If you need more detail ask to me.
I can say I was doing nothing when it's occured but I lauched only an audio effect early

It's an external crash

So certainly linked to the audio effect you used. Which one is it?

It's a normal VST effect

I add this other crash:

it's an external crash again.

That simply means that these VST effects are not compatible with VirtualDJ or are buggy.

Can you give the name here in order to help the other users

I'm talking about ANALOGIC DELAY and BIONIC DELAY (I often use these couple of effects)

Anyway, I'll tell you about other crashes occured with other audio effects (either VST or VDJ effects).

This time I had this crash three time:



I launched only Flanger_TexZK before to have it.
I can say this:
when I reduce VDJ to icon, I've often a little break of the song (about 100 ms) and it sometimes causes a crash like that in this picture or VDJ sometimes closes itself without crashguard or without giving a warning.
I don't know what it depends about.
I have noticed one more information:
I had this after loading both of songs in VDJ.
For having the same problem I did this:
1) loaded 2 song;
2) enabled Flanger_TexZK;
3) reduced to icon VDJ.
Could you try and tell me what happened?

These 2 crashes are external too but linked to the same problem : Crash ID=039xxxxxx

=> This address is in general the one of a plugin, maybe a video plugin because it also could be the dll of Direct3D (d3dx9_XX.dll)

=> Are you sure that you don't have a VST loaded? Select flanger on both decks and test the minimize in the taskbar again.

=> Which video plugin are you using? Select the video plugin "Boom" and test again


About the 100ms freeze, be sure that your skin is not in fullscreen mode because apparently your video drivers have problem with that !!!

It's impossible that I have problems with video plugins because I don't use video section (this section is always disabled in VDJ: I've never used it!!)

You can notice it:
1) I launch VDJ
2) I select Filters_TexZK on both of decks
3) I minimize in the taskbar
4) VDJ closes by itself

P.S: I have the same issue with your DELAY effect, Flanger_TexZK, ecc.
I'm trying and I can say I have this problem after to have enabled any effect on deck1 and any effect on deck2 (with any skin and with any effect)

Man u got a lot of stuff running on that system. I can only imagine how much better it would run with a fresh install to a different partition running only about 23 processes. I would work on cleanin up that system and tweaking XP. There has to be somethin goin on in the background that is stopping u from usin these effects ie. antivirus or somethin else.

Can you try to reproduce what I'm saying?
To fill up my wonder, you can do it please:
active many audio effects both on deck1 and deck2, minimize to taskbar very much times (about 20 or 30 times), load many songs..
I'd like to understand if I'm the only person who has got this issue.

I'm not able to explain myself why I have crashes only with VDJ but I have nothing with other ones

Did u even listen to what i said?? I activated all my effects just now and minimized and maximized quite a few times, I even threw the bitch into full screen mode and still not even a stutter. This isnt even my gig machine its an old 2.4 P4 with tons of shit on it and all was well. This week I will try it out on my gig machine and see if I can get it to crash. I will even do one better and activate vid effects as well.

If you watch your video slowly, you can see the header of a new window (I guess the one telling there is a crash)

So can you have a look in Windows log to give me more info about this crash

( Run -> "mmc c:\\windows\\system32\\compmgmt.msc" )

Be sure that the DEP is not activated for VirtualDJ

What is the DEP in VDJ?

It's enabled in my pc.

Anyway, I'm trying but after having reset all my setting to "default settings" in VDJ by the botton on INFO section, I've almost no problems.
Before to do that, I always had that problem which I showed by the video (each time I lauched VDJ).
Now, after reset all keys, this problem is rarer; to tell you the truth I'm trying but I wasn't able to repeat it yet

Anyway, I'm testing the software to understand where from the problem depends.
Just the problem occurs again, I'll tell you all informations also about
