Hi Mac users

I got a very annoying problem when using the trial version of Virtual DJ 5.2

I got 2 situations, both with the same result:

1. Using my Bose Companion 5 speakers
These speakers use a USB output, so normally I should be able to select 'headphones' at the outputs section. Then I selected 2 cards. But when I select my speakers, a very ugly sound like 'bbbgrrrsggggrrrbbbzzz' comes out very loudly. It won't stop when I play music, and I get the same when I connect my headphones.

2. Using an external audio device: Hercules USB 5.1 Channel
Well, actualy I purchased these and hoped that they would solve the problem. Unfortunately, the 'bbbgrrrsggggrrrbbbzzz' sound is also in this case.

I went to the Apple shop, and they told me it was Virtual Dj's fault. I hope someone knows how to solve this problem, so I can purchase the full version of Virtual Dj. The apple shopmanager is also a Dj, and he told me to buy the Serato scratch. Well, this solution is much cheaper :D

I've got the MacBook Pro 2,5 GHz intel core2duo model, running Mac Os X 10.5.4

Thanks in advance!

A friend of mine gave me the copy, he said it was a trial... Anyway, if I'm going to use it, I'll purchase it. And I'm serious about that.

So I got:

Setup 1:
Virtual DJ 5.2 (the program says it can't be upgraded) which runs on Mac os X 10.5.4
Macbook Pro 2,5 GHz
Bose Companion 5, connected with USB
A headphone, connected into the 3,5" mm jack into my laptop

and a screen of my settings

Setup 2:
Virtual DJ 5.2 which runs on Mac os X 10.5.4
Macbook Pro 2,5 GHz
External USB soundcard (Hercules USB 5.1 Channel audio adapter)
A headphone, connected into the 3,5" mm jack into my laptop OR into a second port in my soundcard

screen of my settings

Hi, try this first..

Can u try only using the internal card solely... does it have a decent sound?

As far as the bose companion 5, im not so sure abt that but for ur herc can u just use it as the only soundcard..

Select 4-out card in the soundcard panel. Any better?

Sorry i a bit rush over here, tell me how its go n i try to get back to u soon.

Regards.
