Man stellt sich mit dem Mikrofon in den Raum, wo der Moderator, Sänger what ever sich, für eine Rede, aufstellt oder stehen könnte. Vielleicht sogar direkt vor den Lautsprecher. Man dreht die "GAIN" auf 0 db und schiebt den "Fader" nach ganz oben. Danach dreht man die "GAIN" soweit auf bis es anfängt zu pfeiffen und dreht anschließend die "GAIN" um 10% zurück. Es kommt zusätzlich darauf an welche Mikrofon benutzt wird. "Niere" "Superniere" "Kondensatmikro" usw... Für Hochzeiten und Moderation würde ich ein Mikrofon mit "Nieren" Charakter empfehlen. Das SM58 ist auch nicht immer zu empfehlen, wer eine tiefe Stimme hat, kommt mit dem SM58 nicht klar, weil dem Mikrofon der nötige Hochtonanteil fehlt. Ausserdem solltet ihr euch nach neuen Funkmikrofon Frequenzen beschäftigen. Das neue LTE Band wird es euch schwer machen an manchen Standorten überhaupt ein Funkmikrofon um die >800Mhz zu betreiben. Tabellen findet ihr bei den Herstellern. Sennheiser hat jetzt als erster Hersteller ein 1800Mhz Funkmikrofon herrausgebracht. In diesem Bereich stört ihr und euch niemand. Dazu ist der Frequenzbereich im Gegenteil zu den unteren um die 700Mhz kostenfrei. ____________________________________________________________ Exklusiver Frequenzbereich Als Kompensation für die wegfallenden UHF-Frequenzen von 790 bis 862 MHz für drahtlose Mikrofone wurde in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland sowie in vielen anderen europäischen Staaten der Bereich von 1.785 – 1.800 MHz exklusiv für den Gebrauch von drahtlosen Audio-Verbindungen freigegeben. In einer Reihe europäischer Länder ist der Betrieb zudem lizenzfrei möglich, so dass dort Anmeldeformalitäten und Betriebsgebühren entfallen (Details hierzu finden Sie in der Länderübersicht). Unkomplizierte Nutzung Da im 1800 MHz-Frequenzbereich die drahtlosen Audio-Geräte Primärnutzer sind, müssen Anwender nicht mehr um TV-Sender herum planen. Die Frequenzkoordinierung wird dadurch erheblich einfacher. Nicht nur Einrichtungen wie Hotels, Konferenzzentren, Kirchen, Schulen und Universitäten profitieren von den neuen Systemen. Auch Musiker, Bands sowie Verleiher von Bühnentechnik werden den neuen Frequenzbereich zu schätzen wissen, nicht zuletzt auch wegen der Möglichkeit des grenzüberschreitenden Arbeitens. Optimierte Technik Die höheren Frequenz im Bereich 1.785 – 1.800MHz wirken sich auf die Wellenausbreitung und damit auf die zu erwartenden Reichweiten aus. Die Durchdringung von Personen und Gegenständen unterliegt hier einer höheren Dämpfung als in tieferen Frequenzen des UHF-Bereiches. Zum Teil wird diese höhere Dämpfung dadurch kompensiert, dass das Spektrumsrauschen innerhalb dieser Frequenzen deutlich unter dem im bekannten UHF-Bereich liegt. Damit können vom Empfänger sehr viel kleinere Signale als im UHF-Bereich noch sicher empfangen werden und tragen so zum störsicheren Betrieb der drahtlosen Strecken bei. Die von Sennheiser für den 1800 MHz-Bereich entwickelten Geräte weisen eine sehr geringe Empfindlichkeit gegenüber Intermodulation auf. Mit der ew 100 G3-1G8 Serie ist es möglich bis zu 12 drahtlose Mikrofonsysteme parallel nebeneinander zu betreiben. A possible solution for you may be to attempt using rekordbox instead of Virtual DJ, as it alone is a great music management software app. If you choose to continue with Virtual DJ, you can also try using the USB functions instead of Timecode. Timecode should result in zero lag, but it is far better and easier "in my opinion" to use the USB function on the CDJ's instead of timecode. Using the USB function works with settings as "DIGITAL" including "CD/LINE" and "LINE". Why is the USB function better than using timecode? Because you can use far more functions on the CDJ's and you can program specific buttons to suit your exact wants and needs! My advice would be at least to use the CDJ's as USB controllers for Virtual DJ and not use timecode. Please continue reading for more info MIXER OUTPUT: USB1/2 "REC OUT", I am not using the other channels and left them as default settings. If deciding to use CDJ's as USB controllers for Virtual DJ on Mac, please download the "CDJ Aggregator" in the "Firmware, Drivers & Software" section of these forums. CDJ Aggregator VERION 1.0: Plug in all CDJ's and DJM-900 Nexus via USB cables and power them on. Run CDJ Aggregator. All USB connected CDJ's will appear as a single aggregate device under the name "Pioneer CDJ", click "OK" to close window. Run Virtual DJ, in Virtual DJ Preferences select "Audio Setup" and choose the "Pioneer CDJ" aggregate device you created as the "Audio Device". Proceed to "Output Routing" on the left panel, and select "Output Channel A" L: Front Left, R: Front Right, and "Output Channel B" L: Pioneer CDJ Out 2, R: Pioneer CDJ Out 3, if not done so already. You are now setup to run your CDJ's as USB controllers and do not require any timecode. FINALLY FOR RECORDING!!!!! In "Spotlight" on Mac (the magnifying glass in the top right corner), search for "Audio MIDI" and select the "Audio MIDI Setup" application. OR without using spotlight, navigate from "Finder", "Applications" folder, "Utilities" folder, "Audio MIDI Setup" application. In Audio MIDI Setup, select the individual "DJM-900nexus" device. Not the aggregate device you created. Under the "Input" settings, select "96000.0 Hz" and "8ch-24bit". Under "Output" setting, select "96000.0 Hz" and "8ch-24bit" as well. Then "Quit" "Audio MIDI Setup" or press "Apple + Q". Download "Audacity" free from their website. VERSION 1.3.12 is the latest version I have, but there could be a newer version. After installing "Audacity" open the application. Under the title "Audacity" in the top left corner, navigate to the "Preferences" pane. On the left panel, make sure you are in "Devices" and set "Playback" to "Headphones" OR "Built-in Line Output" depending on your Mac and connections. Under "Recording" set the "Device" as "DJM-900nexus) and "Channels" as "2 (Stereo)". Then, on the left panel select "Quality" and make sure the "Default Sample Rate" is "96000 Hz", and "Default Sample Format" is "24-bit". Click "OK" to accept. After all of these steps, it should not be necessary to restart your Mac, but it might not be a bad idea. NOTE: Once restarted if you chose to, double check the settings in "Audacity" when you open it, and double check settings in "Virtual DJ". When using CDJ's as controllers in "Virtual DJ" be sure to plug in, power on, and choose to use the CDJ as a USB controller before starting "Virtual DJ". Now you are ready to load your tracks from "Virtual DJ" on your CDJ's via the CDJ selector knob. Prepare "Audacity" to record. You can click the big brown circle thats a button to start the recording, or simply press "R" and the recording will begin. Then play your CDJ and make sure all the levels are set on your mixer. You should actually see "Audacity" creating the Waveform as it records! If you do not see the waveform, you set something up incorrectly and should recheck your settings. If "Audacity" is recording properly and you see the waveform, but still hear the fuzz that everyone is mentioning, then I'm not exactly sure what the issue might be as all of these settings work flawless for myself and the sound card sounds perfect. |
