Jennifer J. Arroyo is a sassy Puerto Rican New Yorker via Washington, D.C. She started touring when she was 14 years old and has been touring the world since. Her former bands include, Open Defiance, SPiNE, Suicide City and most notably, platinum selling all female metal band - Kittie.
Ms. Arroyo is the current bassist for the New York band (Brooklyn based) DeMilitia and Suicide City (Signed to The End Records - Former members include Billy Graziadei of Biohazard). Arroyo was also a judge for the 8th annual Independent Music Awards. Her contributions helped assist the careers of upcoming independent artists. She also performs as "Tigra" in all the all female rock opera titled "CHIX 6" that will hit Off-Broadway in the coming year. CHIX 6 has just finished recording it's official Broadway Soundtrack that will be available when the show hits the theatre.
Jennifer was the first female to be fully endorsed by Warwick Basses (including Amps) and also works with Morley Bass Wah Pedals & Dean Markley.
Arroyo runs her own production company, Jenncity Productions in New York City and was featured in the May 2007 issue of Revolver Magazine with her brand of high energy metal n roll she spins. She is also the proud Co-Host (along with Juliya of FUSE TV) of the "Slave To The Metal Music Festival" which travels around the country looking to help expose some of the best up and coming Metal and Hard Rock Artists in the country.
In 2010, Jennifer has begun working on her solo EP to be released later this year. When asked what her solo material sounds like, she says "Just a lot of blood, sweat and tears with message of hope.. and some sexy MetalNRoll through in for good measure.."
