Filter folders are special virtual folders that will automatically filter your music library based on the criteria that you specify. They work in a similar way to the smart playlist feature in iTunes.
Some useful purposes for filter folders include listing all your music (Regardless of the folder(s) that it is in), listing your unscanned songs, listing your most popular songs (Top 100), etc.
To create a filter folder:
- Click on the blue + folder icon at the top of the folders list in the VirtualDJ browser.
- Enter a name for the filter folder in the Name box, e.g: Top 100
- Enter your filter criteria in the Filter box, e.g: top 100 nbplay

NOTE: If the blue create filter folder icon is not available, then you may be using a Limited Edition (LE) or an old version of VirtualDJ that does not have filter folders. To use this feature, you will need to upgrade to the latest full version.
