not sure if it will work with VDJ or not for i never heard of it from anyone, btw why not go for Gemini CDM-3610 or maybe Gemini CDMP-6000? seems far better than the Gemini CD Mix 5.0

Sound card, and time codes, and it should work just fine. Why not wait for the Gemini CDJ-700's. They come in with a built in sound card, according to their website, and they can be used in MIDI mode therefore eliminating the need for an external sound card or time codes.
