As a radio DJ i have only just plucked up the courage to buy the Hercules RMX i think VDJ works well i have a few issues getting the fx to play from the controller it seems to always revert back to the Pitch fx. (im sure this is an issue with mapping but i have not looked in to this yet).
The mic works well but the auto cut out has too much of a disco feel to it for me, im happy to disable it and fade the music down with the fader when i speak. The only thing missing to make this a serious contender in the battle for the numer one spot is the ability to fx in real time the mic output ie reverb or echo. If this can be done then we have a winner on our hands.
