Hi everyone.
Do any of you guys use the Mackie SRM450 Speakers? the reasons i ask I had a gig last night and noticed on a particular track that I could not hear the backing track on T. Rex Get it on. You can hear his voice ok but not all the instruments. I don't think it is a recording issue as I have encoded my tracks to Flac. I have used other Speakers that we have and the song sounds fine. Any info on what the cause could be would be very helpful. Also can the SRM450 Speakers be plugged into another Amplifier instead of usin the internal ones.
Happy Christmas

Sounds like a stereo seperation/phasing issue to me. Check that you've definitely got individual left and right line outputs from the mixer to the speakers, and that the cables are ok. Sometimes a badly wired cable can give a weird "cancelling" effect on a stereo signal.
