Tópico: Hercules RMX headphone issue

Can someone tell me how to configure my VirtualDJ and my RMX for me to monitor one side without it coming through the speakers? Right now if I am monitoring one side, both sides come through the speakers.

have the rmx connected to your pc/lap top, open VDJ > config > sound setup >

inputs > none

outputs > headphones

soundcard(s) > RMX

EQ > do not tick

see if that helps, if not there may be one more setting you have to do in the rmx pop up window located on your task bar, make sure that is in wdn mode.
 
just noticed you haven't registered your rmx, you will need to do that to get the latest version for it off vdj, also have you all the latest updates from the hercules site.
 
how can i just listen the next song i want to mix.example im currently playing the song on the left deck,but i cant hear the other song on the deck thx
 
are you using a mixer ?
 
My RMX registered.

The thing is my VirtualDJ treats my master output and my headphone output as the same so everything in my headphones is also heard through the speakers. The crossfader only reduces the volume slightly.
Any suggestions?
I already changed the VirtualDJ settings as mentioned above (thanks for the help by the way).
 
Wait, I realised that my MK2 is registered, not the RMX.
How do I register my RMX?

It's done mate :)

Have you got set Master - Chan 1&2/ Headphones - Chan 3&4 (sound setup tab)

You may have.

Just had a thought, open the RMX control panel and tell me what you see, or post a screen shot (would be better)

Yea it looks exactly like tat and yea I did do the config.
 
So what do you guys think??
I see someone else has a similar complaint on this forum.
 
just got my rmx too, i am having the same problem, cant figure it out, at the bottom of the dj control panel instead of having two bubbles with WDM as an option it just has a text box saying "DJ console rmx no.1". Can that have something to do with it,? I use a mac.

Since you are on a MAC ( where ASIO does not exist) , it is perfectly normal that you don't have this option.

You've talk about the software configuration, but how are your speakers and headphone connected to the Rmx exactly ?

Obviously, this has to be consistant with the configuration your are selecting.

As well, how about the MONITOR knob ? What position do you have it on ?
