What makes Tiësto n° 1 year after year when their are so many good dj's (on VDj alone there are enough dj's to forget him)?
He doesn't amaze you with new sounds. You know what you're going to get when he plays.
My and a lot of people i know(musiclovers from the beginning) don't understand what's all the fuss about.

Does he play your music? By that, I mean the big, trancy, epic, moody, raver stuff...at least that's what I think of when I hear the name "Tiesto" and I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who does the Tiesto sound better than he does.
I think part of the reason there is a bit of backlash on Tiesto is because he's become so popular that he's worn out his own sound. I know I've grown a bit tired of it. That being said, he can put together some amazing mixes, both technically and musically.
I could say the same thing about Benassi.
