Tópico: Question for the KJ's put there

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I've had more Karaoke requests than normal the past couple of months

Much much more than normal. SO I guess it's back to "If ya can;t beat em........."
My question for the KJ's out there, How many Karaoke songs is a good starting library? I was thinking about 2000 Karaoke titles would be sufficient as a start up.

My Next Question is....

Is there a Karaoke Download service out there? I've tried google but nothing really comes out. (only found one)
I just don't want to spend 3 days ripping CDG's to yet another hard drive.

We use CAVS for our Karaoke songs and use their program as well. http://www.cavsusa.com/

We have well over 13,000+ songs in our library but have been doing Karaoke full time for over 15 years.

You can also contact Donny@Karaoke Closet in Hamilton who is a great guy. http://karaokecloset.com/home.php

They specialize in Karaoke and have every disc IN-STOCK that you would ever need.

Hope that helps!

Lets not forget ...

My favorite karaoke brands are...

Sunfly (there are many different Sunfly series CDGs)
Sound Choice
Chartbuster
DK Karaoke
Pioneer Karaoke (no longer available)
Legends
Mr. Entertainer
Idol Maker

...and many others out there.

DK Karaoke CDG discs 1-99 is a great starting point, there are so many greats in this collection. I have the original "first run" set of these CDGs
from 1993 to 1997 and then all of the releases after that.

2000 songs is a somewhat decent start but obviously the more you have the better off you will be. I currently have well over 100,000 karaoke titles.

Thanks guys.

Some good sites there.

DJ Marcel,
I have over 20.000 Karaoke tracks none duplicated songs! I update my karaoke with www.karaokewh.com. I love using them yes it sucks ripping them but it's part of the job. After ripping them I put them in a zipped file and work great for me. I rip them with audiograbber them zip them with maszip. Hope this helps.

Sort of a new place out of the UK, but they have nicely done songs and some things that have never been released by other makers.
