Hey DJs!
I am a noob DJ trying to start off with some new equipment that I just bought. I was wondering if anyone can give me some assistance on how to setup this Maya 44 USB up with my MAC BOOK PRO. My setup consists of Numark Battle Pak V4, Serato Timecoded Vinyl (CV02), Maya 44 USB, Mac book pro.
I’ve seen DJ Triple 9’s tutorial (great vid btw) on how to set it up and tried to follow as best as I could but there is still some problems I am having. The problem is OS X 10.6.3 has a different “audio midi setup” menu and did not give me the options that he had.
When the music is playing my Maya 44 USB red light and orange light are on, the entire analog out green lights are on, NONE of the Analog in green light is on. The Right Deck sound like crap, the pitch is changing and it seems to run slow and very slow response to scratches. The Left Deck sounds good but is has about 0.5sec delay on the response when I scratch and I have to set it as “reverse signal” or the track plays backwards for some odd reason...
I played around with all the gain’s and silence knobs nothing seem to work. Please help!

i have the exact same thing .. battle pak, serato vinyls. maya 44, virtual dj .. what kind of amp and speakers do you have ?

DJ Tommy Kay, you ever figure out how to set it all up ? im working with the exact same stuff and am totally lost ..
