After reading that someone wanted to create a filter folder that was based on dates I tried to figure out how it was possible to be done.
After a few days of "research" I finally got it:
VDJ understands and stores dates in the following format logic: YYMMDDHHMM
If the first digit of the year is 0 it gets omitted.
So, let's say that you want to create a filter folder that will hold all the files that they were first seen between March of 2010 and July of 2010
Your filter should be: firstseen >1003010000 and firstseen < 1007312359
Now If you want a filter folder that will show you the files that were first seen between Feb of 2008 and Jan of 2010 you should type
firstseen >802010000 and firstseen < 1001312359
I hope this info helps anyone who wants to use dates on his filters...

OK I just sat down and tried it and WOW!! I'm so happy. When I download tracks there no method to the maddness, lmao!! Now I can just go through and make folders for the month..

Good to finally get info on that... but what I really want is a function that returns the system date. I'm trying to created a "Recently Added" Filter Folder that displays all files that were 'first seen' between 'Today' and 'Today' - 30 days.

Oh, I think I found a solution: days since firstseen<30.
