Hi! I have a problem with broadcasting. It works in LAN, but when I try to coonnect via internet, it can't find server. My comp is server... Donno, i tried allmost everything, i think that my 8000 port is not open... Don't know how because I don't have any firewall...

you have two interfaces one for LAN and other for internet access. (or it looks like this is the case)
try to disable LAN interface before starting VDJ. VDJ should bind to the other adapter.
I did not find a way to specify this manually.
But you can verify
if you enter a command "netstat /a" you shold see something like
netstat /a
Active Connections
Proto Local Address Foreign Address State
TCP sk15842c:finger sk15842c.ww300.siemens.net:0 LISTENING
TCP sk15842c:epmap sk15842c.ww300.siemens.net:0 LISTENING
TCP sk15842c:371 sk15842c.ww300.siemens.net:0 LISTENING
...
and the corresponding entry should be for your EXTERNAL ip address and at port 8000 i think.

do you have a router ? is port 8000 open ? maybe check your router settings ...

oh just in case you have some dsl or cable router and your computer is behind it.

Please, what is port forwarding? I have a router Alcatel Speed touch 500series and broadcasting isn`t working on my PC at all through Shoutcast and own radio either. What can i do with my broadcasting problems?

Well,i have it.
The way i have solved the problem:
start-run-telnet (type help if you dont know what to type)
type:
o as open connection
ip adress of your router
your username but you dont have to do it
nat
create
tcp
type inside address of your comp (in LAN)
inside port 8000
outside adress 0.0.0.0
outside port 8000
foreign address nothing
foreign port nothing
and you have it
you can type list to show connections

Actually I know that to open a port on a Lynksys router u have to go to application and gaming. Type the ip of the machine and udp dcp port to be open or choose both. May be all routers have a similar way to do this. Do a google on your own router.
