I have an Audigy 2 Platinum, is it possible for me to preview a song in my headphones while another track is playing?

ok, great but how does the software know what channel goes to the headphones in the front drive, and not mix it with the rest of the sound?

You have to set the audio configuration (not available in demo version).
With 3D sound card or 2 sound card you will have 2 possibilities:
- one output for mixed sound and one for headphones
- one output for each deck.(for external mixer)
These 2 settings are available with one sound card but the stereo output is split into 2 mono outputs.
If you choose the mixed and headphones setting, headphones
will receive the sound of the active deck (level at 100% even if the crossfader or the volume slider mute/reduce its level for the mixed output).

i have 2 sound card 1 platinum audigi + 4.1 sound blaster they are both creative can i use them both or its better if creative+yamaha sound card...any advise please

Well, I have an audigy sound card, I was wondering how to preview something in deck 2 while I am still playing a track in deck 1, as soon as I am done with deck one ill have to start the preview I listened to in deck 2. So how does that work exactly I tried the sound configuration but still didnt get to a conclusion, so it would be greatfull if I get some tips on how to work this out. Id like to preview deck 2 in my headphone, while playing both or just deck one in the normal 5.1 speakers.
