I used to be able to change the default transition in previous VDJpro versions. For some reason, it doesn't seem to work in VDJ7. In fact, the only two transitions i can get to work are fade and satelite. I want clean cuts. How can i get the default video transition to be cuts?

Find the window on the skin you are using that has the drop down menu. The drop down menu lists all the transitions. select cut or whatever floats your boat and leave it there.
In the panel where it lists (Browser, Effects, Sampler etc) select "Effect". Once in effects you should find "Video Effects".
If by chance you had downloaded and installed the random video effects plugin, make sure that it is not activated.
A more permanent solution would be to go into your transitions folder and delete all the dll files except "Cut"...if that's really the only one you want to use. Let me know how it goes.
