i didnt want to hijack another thread
i got a launchpad s today and am not sure how i can get vdj to recognize it as not a simple midi wrapper,if i cant cause its a different type of launchpad would anyone be able to tell me how to map the colors

To get the LEDS to work, you need to create a proper definition file. The available mapper for the Novation Launchpad might work, but if it doesnt i am sure it will give you the idea on how to create one for the S model as well.
