Is it possible to have the output come out of my laptop headphone jack (of which I'll plug into speakers) and headphone jack in the DDJ-Wego still work as the headphone output?

Yes, make sure the Wego is plugged in. Open VDJ and go to configure. under sound setup (first tab) go to the "outputs" menu and choose "headphones" then go to the "sound card" menu and choose "2 cards" to the left of that choose "primary sound driver" for the top of master and DDJ wego for the bottom, or second card.

Those options are not available in VirtualDJ LE outside of the 20 day Pro trial.
As explained in the link above, either a cable link back to the computer's line input will need to be used or the user will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Pro at a discount to be able to access advanced sound configuration options: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
