Hey guys. Been checking out the latest VDJ skin. It looks pretty good on the whole... but why the hell is there a comma instead of a decimal point at the BPM section? LOL.
 
Regional settings probably. A lot of European countries use a comma as the decimal place separator instead of a period.

djsonance, you beat me :) I was about to comment on that. Not only the BPM, there's lots of comma on the skin.

Let's wait and see what the Atomix staff will comment on that.

thats correct.
VDJ 8 currently follows the region settings of the user.

And yes, European countries use comma ;)

(but we could add decimal setting in options, even if I'm myself European, I do prefer the . in the skin, just by old habits )
 


For many European countries thousand dollars and fifty cent :
1.000,50

American/British/Canadian way is opposite :
1,000.50


So technically VDJ8 is doing the correct thing, according to the users region settings ;)

like hearing about some new features but would be nice to get an estimate on the release date
 
I'm looking forward to VDJ 8. I'm so glad I stuck with VDJ from its inception. VDJ IS STILL THE BEST!!!!!
 
bonus points in the pcdj vid for using sublime, shame about the terrible overdubbed song though
 
Wait, you mean to tell me there was ANOTHER convention and VDJ 8 is still not out?

It has been like 2+ YEARS. Oh wait, it will be ready when it's ready....

Here is an idea, don't announce it until it's ready!

No, nothing is wrong with my VDJ7 but talk about hyping a product...
 
Here's an idea, For us Karaoke DJ's who subscribed to Contents Unlimited for the Karaoke, let us have the option to get our money's worth... By downloading all to cache with one click. Much better faster and easier than one at a time... Make that an option for all Content Unlimited!
 
Addition to my comment above, as I was downloading contents unlimited Karaoke, I had over 2,000 downloading to cache. My son came along and shut the lid on the laptop. My downloads stopped, and I have no idea where to start back up again. Something should be added so that it prevents this again. you can download them, close the software, and it will resume downloading next time you use it while connected to the internet.
 
You already have a post running in another thread on the same subject, why the need to repeat it?

The service you subscribe to is internet based so obviously you'll need an internet connection... doh, secondly the service is based on subscribers needing one off songs while out at a show, this service is not meant as a means to building a library of songs on the cheap.

EDIT, Bloody hell! you have at least three threads running that I can see, one is enough, two is a bit much, three is wasting yours, mine and everybody else's time.
