Hi VDJers,
I just found about a lot of songs on my Macbook hard drive that I captured back in my PC days that I thought was corrupted. This might be old news to some but in case you didn't know WMA codec files are not setup by default in VDJ mac (well at least it wasn't in mine). I noticed that all the files that didn't work had one thing in common, a [wma] type. This is easy to fix simply go to your codecs (found in options) create a new line for .wma type and select "internal audio" as a codec and bam! wma files will now play on your Mac VDJ software.
I had to go through all of my folders to find all of the wma files and then scan them after.
Nice!!
Like I found money in the couch or something!

O sometimes open up the folder they are in nd drag it in vdj decks, my corrupt files that is.
Sometimes I get files that only play 30 seconds.

Did you crosscheck that you are not using titles from our Content Unlimited feature ? You should deactivate them if you don't want to test because for testing purposal you get 30 seconds of a track as preview.
Hit the option button right beside your search field to disable Content Unlimited / Netsearch.

Next time, or for other users, just create a filter folder with the action: isscanned=0 and filepath ends with ".wma"
A lot easier than searching all you folders by hand ;)
