I see that the Mac users now have recurse. I have no clue what this is or what it does and I did not find anything in the manual about it.
Can we have a detailed explanation please?
Many thanks!

If you choose recurse on, say, the root folder of your music in the browser, ALL tracks from ALL subfolders will be displayed in the browser.

I hit recurse and I was able to songs in the subfolders and then shut down and reopened and now those songs are no longer in the parent folder.
Must this be done every time? I certainly hope not.

It's not a feature you want on all the time as it takes a lot of processing power and disk utilization to build the list.
If you have all of your music added to the database, that will give you what you need when doing a search.
The recurse feature might be useful if you have a folder for Remixes, and inside of that you have ultimix, hot traxx, whatever. When you select recurse and select the remixes folder, you'll see all the songs in those folders/subfolders.

Not sure why it would take processing power but okay...
