Is it possible to force pitch rage in v8? Right now I can set the pitch range, but if I try to sync a song that needs a bigger pitch range, it accepts it, and changes the range
In version 7 I would get another icon on the song, telling me that the songs bpm was out of range with the current song, and it wasn't possible to sync the song to exceed the pitch range. Can I get the same functionality in v8?

Change "autopitchrange" option in settings to no

It doesn't change the icons, but is does make sure I don't do a 25% pitch adjustment by mistake :)
