Tema: Easier way to quickly rate a track {Feature Request]

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Since the DEV team is tweaking v8 before it goes public, how about a faster/easier way to rate a track.
Maybe incorporate a right-mouse click on the star rating area to add or update the value.
If that's not possible, how about adding the star-rating to the bottom of the right-mouse-click context-menu?
Anything is better than having to go into the tag-editor, add/change the rating, and exit out. (Clunky.)

Liking this idea! That and putting broadcast dropdown selection on the skin menu instead of hidden away in settings!

What broadcast options would you like to see Craig?

This can probably be done with a skin modification.

+1 for quick rating because actually this is just very long to do (right clic/choose editor/adjust the window/rate/write...)

On a related note (and I'm not trying to hijack this request), is there any reason why Virtual DJ 8 doesn't pull in an existing rating when it reads the track tags?

It would be really useful to see (and sort by) track ratings already stored in the file itself.

It should read the rating if you enable the option getRatingFromTags

Ooh! Didn't know about that. I'll try it out tonight.

Thanks!
