Just tried out VD8 and I am super impressed. I feel like I'm using a totally different software that is 10 times better than VDJ 7. The layout is very intuitive and easy to navigate. The sound engine sounds awesome. The sampler is awesome. Everything is just great. I am very excited to use this software for my gigs and it was well worth the wait. I will survive without the timeline (which was a feature I wanted the most after the sound engine). Thank you VDJ Team for this amazing DJ software.

Totally agree ;) of course i'm subjective.. but trying to be an objective user, the stuff is just so much better, grown up modern software, with so many pro features.. In all honesty, I "cant" even use the older versions by now, i'm addicted to the new stuff ;) hehe
