I've tried the tablet mode. While this is alright, it doesn't support the resolution of the touch screen that I am using which is 1280 x 1024 (4:3). Is there anything I can do to support the native resolution on my touch screen or do I just need to find a suitable skin?

It will be down to a skin.

I am sure as time goes on different touch skins and resolutions might be available.
In the mean time i might send Mark this way and see if he has any tips ;-)
 
in the xml for the tablet skin, search for breakline and remove that bit..

something has changed in the latest build, but i removed "Breakline" from the browser section (in previous builds). In latest build Breakline is at the top (Build 1834 Beta) so dosent work if you take out Breakline

removing breakline doesn't work. you need to search for Browser and edit height to something greater, like...

That's sort of got it, cheers.

Still tricky to switch between sampler, sidelist, etc. whilst in tablet view.

I think this skin needs some work :)
 
Ive made a custom button to switch the bottom half back to browser no matter what you have in focus.. Master, video, dosent matter which...

skin_panel 'bottom_browser' on & search

switches to browser and puts the cursor in the search box ready to type..
