EV and EM had a lot of issues when they were being selected via the MC6000 controller. As far as I know this extends to other controllers but can't say for sure. When selected via the keyboard or mouse or under programmed control, everything was fine.
When selected via the controller, a different threading model was used, for example, normal thread versus critical thread. Why? Something to do with midi.
I have worked around these startup problems but so far I am not able to get SendCommand to work when the plugin has been loaded via midi. Everything else works fine, just not SendCommand for 'effect_activate. It does nothing. It works fine when the plugin has been loaded using the keyboard or mouse.
I am still looking for any kind of work around or fix.
