Hi everyone,
Im new in dj-ing, but I would like to learn how to record a good mix.
I use Beatport as my primary source for electronic music.
How do you choose tracks to Your mixes ?
It is about the volume. Because I have several tracks with a bit different
average volume (up to 6 decibels when I match them using my ears).
The volume of these tracks can be matched, but overall dynamics doesnt
look good after rendering the mix. One track is "visually" quieter than
2.
Do you choose the tracks with the same percieved volume or
do you match the volume of them using gain knobs and leave
the "visual" picture of a mix alone ?
