As a precursor to my gig I will (dare I say this) play from a playlist with shuffle. This is a new feature on V8 I believe which is useful. I believe the shuffle feature is currently pure random.
How about the following.. Select randomly from your playlist next songs based on bpm compatibility. This of course would mean in its basic form only songs around the same bpm will be played. However if you say have a system where after 4 songs you then go up/down by 10-20 bpm then you could cover (assuming auto remove already played) the whole playlist. There are probably better ways of covering all songs in a playlist with a logical bpm based system than described above but itll do as a starter for discussion.
Basicaly I dont want big jumps of bpm when playing a playlist set on random. Deslecting random and playing in sequence would also work but having a regular gig it repaets too often.
In a nutshell... A "Shuffle (smart) button please that randomises logically with bpm.
Cheers
