Hey there. I am going to be annoying and ask about the Denon 2900 units and if we are all good to go with VDJ8. I currently have the 3700s and am aware of the issues and that's fine. That being said, my understanding currently is that all the DENON hardware without moving platters is good to go. I just wanted to confirm that before going and switching out my units.
If anyone can shed some light or has the direct answer I would appreciate it.

Denon SC2900 works like a charm with VDJ8. I use them not as sound card as a pure midi-device (SK = Denon Mixer X1600).
My Setup:
2 x SC2900
1 X X1600
+ Pio DDJ-SP1

The Mapping is great: for example you can change the deck with press eject (you don't have to change anything in the hw-config of the device).

Thanks for letting me know. I checked the WIKI and I know it says it was supported...I was just looking for someone like yourself that has been using them to speak up. :-)
