Does anyone have a map for the DJM 2000 for audio & video for vdj 8

i would like to have a complete mapping of the DJM 2000 ;-)
 
im kinda shocked that VDJ has not made a mapper for the DJM 2000 .
 
They have - for VDJ 7.

Did you try using one of those?
 
i tried them they don't work with vdj8
 
If it's the acw dj mapper, see the DJM850 thread. Maybe you can ask acw to update the file.
 
I think this should be implemented in vdj as a controller mapping config. ?
 
i think so to . i can't believe vdj has mappers for almost everything out but still don't have a mapper for the djm 2000 or nexus . when i got my DJM 2000 i got it because i wanted to use it for video mixing . and yes i could map it my self but truth be told I'm not that good at it and really don't have the time to .
 
maybe if we get more people to write vdj for a real mapper of the djm 2000 they will make one. audio & video

As per Pioneer, the DJM 2000 is discontinued, so we will probably get our hands on a 2000NEXUS. Hopefully it will be good enough to provide support on both.
We dont have any sample unit yet, so it wont happen tomorrow, but its on the way, so hang on.
 
the djm 2000 is the same as the nexus with its firmware update . anything made for the nexus will work .

i think i should just give up on them making a map .
 
We have not yet received any unit guys. Its on a waiting list (awaiting approval or out of stock perhaps). Be patient, we ll have a native mapping once we get a unit. No need to bump ;)

Where does the unit need to be located? Maybe a forum member can provide one for a while.
 
Proper native support cannot be based on a loan unit. We need the unit to test things even after offering mapping files ;)
 
its always we don't have a unit but we are getting one lol can't help but laugh at this point .
