I have had my VMS 4.1 for quite a while now and love it. Occasionally, I would get popping when first setting it up so I put it in the case that American Audio designed for it. Since the popping continued, I could deal with it because it wasn't so bad, but finally added power conditioners to my set-ups (Furman).
This morning, I plugged in for an event, and the popping and static were so bad (wasn't even playing anything) that I had to pull my computer and use a secondary mixer. I ran the VMS 4.1 through the mixer and it was giving out static on that channel so I turned it down. Has anyone else had these issues with the 4.1 and what did you do to rectify the situation? It sounds like it's an issue of static electricity, but unlike the past, the static didn't stop.
