I've posted previously about how the audio coming out of my laptop alone sounded very hollow ... tinny ... no bass. My Windows 8.1 laptop was a recent refurbished purchase, a Toshiba E55-A5114. It has 4th Gen i5 processor & 6Gb RAM so VDJ8 loads the songs very quickly and seems to function well overall. But if I connect RCA to mini-stereo cable out of the headphone jack and into an external mixer, there is hardly any bass coming out.
It looks like time to purchase a supported DJ controller with a decent soundcard (for VDJ8), I found these choices under $250 on Amazon. I want to survey the membership to help me decide on my purchase. I am most interested in a reliable product that produces good sound. Since I am using VDJ8 for music videos, so I posted here.
