Tema: Freezing Intermittently during playback

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Every now and then while I'm playing, I have an issue where the sound will completely cut off and the video freezes. Sometimes there isn't even a video playing with the song just milkdrop visuals and those are working fine. My laptop is an MSI Apache GE72 2QC. (Specs included below) The video quality can range from 720p to 480p, but it still does not heavily tax my processor. I use a Hercules RMX2 Black & Gold Edition controller with the sound output being one red & white RCA cable going out the back of the controller (from outputs 3&4) to a mixer and having my pair of headphones plugged into the headphone jack in the front. At its worst experiences, I lose complete control of the Hercules Controller and I have to restart the program to get it back. (Mind you, when the controller is powered on and off again, it displays the lights in a series of flashing patterns as it boots up. This does NOT happen during these times as the controller still remains on. If I restart the program and turn the power off to the controller, it works again.)

If it helps, I also have been receiving the message "not enough memory to load xx file" when dropping just a song onto a deck, but I think that's a completely separate issue than this.

If any of you have any ideas how I can fix this from happening...

I have some errors from my event log from when this happens.

Hi all. I need some help. I have a freezing issue too....
Bought vdj8 and downloaded it. I have a ddj-wego. The software is a big step up from the vdj7 LE that the wego came with. It works quite well and Im very pleased with it. However, when I'm scratching a cued song to bring it in, the wego and software freezes(the current song continues playing but i cant interact with the wego or the vdj8) i have to turn off the wego and then force close vdj8 and then start over. Needless to say, this has caused me embarrassment in my little house parties. I need this to be solved. My pc has all the requirements to use vdj8 and its working pretty well as i said. But when i scratch vigourously or even moderatley to bring the next song in style, everything freezes. I used different combinations of the crossfader and scratching in the settings and nothing works. It's still freezing. My last decision is that i may have to either uninstall vdj8 and reinstall it, or take it out completely and revert to the vdj7LE that the wego came with which i dont want to do because vdj8 is working quite well except for this freezing thing. And additionally, if i have to reinstall vdj8 would i have to reanalyze all my music to get it in the database plus recreate my hotcues and samples? :-(

Please do not post twice about the same issue. Someone will help you, when they get a chance.
