I recently purchased the numark mixtrack pro 3 off of amazon
I received the turntables today and plugged them into my windows laptop that has a serato program that was not compatible and also the latest version of virtual DJ.
I purchased the license (virtual DJ pro subscriber, 19.00/month) but I get no sound. I am using my bose speakers that are connected to my laptop through and aux cord.
I can see that the controller works because when I do something on the turntables the program goes along with it
For whatever reason, when the controller is connected the sound (music) stops instantly. When it is not connected I do get sound. any help would be greatly appreciated. email: ewilson90810@gmail.com

Do you have the outputs of the MT3 connected to your system? Does the headphone output of the MT3 work when you have the controller connected?

I don't know if they have the same sound set up, but you could try the Mixtrack pro set up to see if they work, here. Your speakers should be connected to the controller, not the laptop.

You need to connect your speakers on the RCA plugs on the back of your unit.
