Tema: Beat Tapping...

Ok when i click on beat tap it changes the BPM...but then if i tap it agian it changes agian...Why and also if anyone could explain how beat tapping works and how to exactly find the real BPM it would be very much helpful...

Listen to the song... count along with the beat 1, 2, 3, 4....

once you are able to recognise the beat, tap your right mouse button to the beat... you'll see the bpm changing as you go. Keep tapping along with the beat for 16 beats or so. If you accidentally skip a beat, click cancel and start over.
Once you are done, click ok, and the beat tap window will close.
REMEMBER!!! Manual beat tapping is not an exact science, it depends on a human equation. You'll find that the songs that you manually beat tapped will need some manual lining up to make a perfect mix.

so the BPM that VDJ assigns to each song itself is'nt accurate or is it?Also whats the phase slider about and hows that work?

The assigned BPM reported by VDJ is USUALLY accurate. Sometimes not. When it's not, it's usually very obvious. The phase slider controls where the cgb blocks show up under the wav form. Generally the fatter block should be under beat 1.

Best thing is to spend some time practicing.
