I am using the cloud for all my music to be synced across the machines I use. I'd like to store the database, playlist and VDJ8 settings files there too so any changes made affect the master library and sync to any machine I use. If this is not possible can we have this in the wishlist?

You can change the home folder in the registry.

This doesn't apply to VDJ8 or MAC.

You never said you had a Mac. Not sure how to change it on there as I haven't had one in years. It does apply to VDJ8, the only registry setting now is the home folder location.
I think there's a file settings.plst or something like that, may be worth a look in there.

On MAC indeed you need to edit a .plist file:
Library/Preferences/com.atomixproductions.virtualdj.plist
The key you want to change is NSNavLastRootDirectory
