Numark released a new Firmware for Numark NV (not NV II). Firmware 1.07 added BeatGrids to Screens.
Some People say, that Serato-Users have to update the Software also. Is there someone who tested the new Firmware with VDJ 8.2 (Build 3471)

We will take a look at the new firmware and let u know.how it works.
In the meantime, it is strongly advised not to update to the new firmware until we make sure it doesn't break VirtualDJ compatibility

We checked the new firmware and found no issue with VirtualDJ, so its all good to update.
The new firmware supports CBG display on the waveform, and VirtualDJ will offer this in next Build.
The only glitch we found and already informed Numark about, is that when you open VirtualDJ (or Serato), the Hotcue markers of the previously loaded track are still drawn on the progress bar until you load the first track.
Not a showstopper of course, and considering how helpful the CBG may be for some, the firmware update sounds logical to proceed with.

ATTENTION:
This firmware is NOT for the NV 2 it is for NV 1 !!!
You may break your unit if you try it.

im selling my nv2. im moving and need to cut down. now i am running a pioneer djm t1 with two numark ndx 500s. they are cheap and work great for dvs. my 1200s are packed in storage.
