Just wanted to share an experience I previously issued with Virtual DJ 8 and the latest download of Windows 10 Creator.
I currently use (and have always used) a Lenovo ThinkPad Computer and have never experienced one issue with the software. However, last month I was experiencing a quick skip for each song that was playing. Again, play the song and experienced only one quick stutter/skip. In this particular scenario, I was not connected to the internet, Numark ASIO Soundcard, and Lacie external drive housing my 40000 song entire library collection!. However, I was able to resolve by simply logging on to the internet, the issue would go away. I believe the overall issue occurred as there were several errors listed on my computer that Windows 10 Creator failed to download. I had the setting on Manual, so not sure if my computer was trying to update, but set on Manual.
Now, THIS POST IS TO SAVE YOUR VALUABLE TIME!!! I was able to resolve by completely re-installing Windows 10 creator, switching Windows update to "Automatic", Download from scratch --> Virtual DJ 8, Numark ASIO Driver for soundcard, and DMC Controller/Pioneer Controller. As a result, no matter what setup I use, connected/not connected to the internet, it works perfectly as intended.
