Any chance to reproduce the crash while you are online, so that the crash report gets uploaded to our server ?

Hi, Not sure I understand what you mean, while I am online

Try to make it crash while connected to internet. A crashreport will be sent to Atomix then so they could look into what is causing it.

You can also try to download build 3798 from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/build.html and try if it still crashes.

That's what I thought it meant. I am always connected to the internet while using the software. I'll try it now.

I have installed this version as suggested. Unfortunately it has made no difference.

No, data has not been uploaded, because you are not experiencing a VirtualDJ crash but a Windows one (freeze), so clueless of what could be wrong on your side.
Can you delete the native-title.ini file from /VirtualDJ/Plugins folder and try again ?
How exactly do you enable Title FX ? Do you enable it manually when you start VirtualDJ or automatically as Visualisation for audio files ?
Do you have any issues with any other Video Effects like "Text" ?
Updating your graphics card driver would be also a good idea

Hi DJDad, Thanks for your help so far. I have deleted native-title.ini and tried again. Same problem happening. All other plugins work fine. I enable Title FX manually. My graphics card driver is up to date.

Just a heads up. It's definitely not a video card issue. I have uninstalled card and reinstalled using the latest drivers and this made no difference. It's a radeon 7 card, not top of the range by any means, but perfectly capable of handling VDJ.
I'm going to attempt with an earlier version see if that makes a difference. Probably not, else other people would have the same issue.
This didn't work.

ok, after removing "native_title.ini" and restarting, I noticed that the program didn't replace it.
I have retrieved it and had a look at it and the contents are as follows:
is anyone else's the same, or is there something wrong here?

It should replace it when you restart the effect. close VDJ, delete the current .ini then restart VDJ and try to use the effect.
Mensajes Fri 07 Jul 17 @ 10:20 am
reason why not re-generating the ini file is that VDJ never manages to close properly after using the Text FX(since you got the Windows crash), so this info doesnt help much.
