I have an original MC6000. Lately the cross fader on the digital mixer get's the jitters. It will randomly go from center to left and right and back again. Usually starts off moving just a little bit but the longer it goes the bigger the jumps it will make. I have no idea why this happens or how to stop it from happening.

That is called fader bleed, the fader is mechanically failing, you could try clean the fader with compressed air or you may have to replace the fader.
