I am concerned to connect my main gig PC to Internet while performing but still need to access online music from time to time in special requests.
My idea is to use my backup pc for internet access and connect main and backup pc by local network to access a location on the backup pc which has connection to online stores.
Would it be possible?
Can I connect two computers without router with a twisted ethernet cable?

I have had zero issues connecting my primary DJ laptop to the internet while performing to purchase a requested track for play if not already in my library.
